The mission of the Center for Addiction and Substance Abuse
(CASA) is to inform Americans of the economic and social costs
of substance abuse and its impact on their lives; assess what
works in prevention, treatment, and law enforcemen; encourage
every individual and institution to take responsibility to
combat substance abuse and addiction; provide those on the
front lines with the tools they need to succeed; remove the
stigma of abuse and replace shame and despair with hope. more

for Substance Abuse Prevention
The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) is the sole
Federal organization with responsibility for improving accessibility
and quality of substance abuse prevention services.

on Alcohol Marketing and Youth (CAMY)
The Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth at Georgetown University
monitors the marketing practices of the alcohol industry to
focus attention and action on industry practices that jeopardize
the health and safety of America's youth.
Students
Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)
Originally, the mission of the SADD chapter was to help young
people say "No" to drinking and driving. Today,
the mission has expanded. Students have told us that positive
peer pressure, role models and other strategies can help them
say "No" to more than drinking and driving. And
that is why SADD has become a peer leadership organization
dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly
underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, teen
violence and teen depression and suicide. more
